DELTA PHI EPSILON
A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Welcome to the Phi Eta chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon!
My name is Anastacia Villis and I am beyond blessed to be the current president of Delta Phi Epsilon, Phi Eta Chapter. Founded in 1917 by a group of five women at NYU Law School, DPhiE became the first sorority on Northeastern University’s campus. We live by the motto “Esse Quam Videri”- to be rather than to seem to be, and embody the values of Justice, Sisterhood, and Love.
Through our practice of justice, I have met some of the most inspiring women who make a difference every day by caring for those around them and supporting what they believe in. Through our Sisterhood, I have found a home away from home and am continuously surrounded by people who work each day to be the best versions of themselves. We are a unique and diverse group of women brought together by the bond of sisterhood and, through love, our bonds grow every day.
While we all come from different backgrounds and each has a unique story, every one of us can say that we are proud to be DPhiE. This incredible group of women has made my experience at Northeastern one that I will never forget. They have been there to support me when I am faced with challenges and to celebrate with me when I experience success.
We hope that our website can give you a glimpse into our rewarding sisterhood. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!
